OUR VISION
At Victory Lesson Studios we believe in creating a fun and positive environment where students of all abilities, ages and backgrounds can come together to socialize through the expression of art, music, theater, movement and even audio-recording. Our loving atmosphere is student-centric and celebrates the differences among us. We are TRULY inclusive and well-prepared to meet each individual student where they are now. Our students range from moms who are seeking to live out their dream of playing piano, to hopeful teenage rock stars, to those that may be non-verbal and learn to find their "voice" through art and music.
OUR CORE TEAM
Miss Donna
Miss Donna has over 15 years' experience as a dance and theater instructor, is a singer/songwriter, pianist, and avid painter. She has three children who have focused on 'the arts' including her daughter Miss Emily. Donna spent 30 years in the insurance industry and held various C-level positions. These roles gave her a unique sensitivity to those facing and managing loss.
Miss Laurie
Has over 20 years' experience as a Special Education teacher and is a seasoned ABA therapist. She has raised four children and passed on her love of music and dance to each one. She has also incorporated the use of music and art in her therapeutic methodologies over the years and is an expert in her field.
Miss Emily
Has over ten years' experience teaching piano, woodwinds, voice, ukulele and trumpet to children and adults of all skill levels, with a focus on special needs students. Her degree was focused on piano performance however her heart is in private education.
CLASSES & PROGRAMS
Group Art Classes
Our unique intake process will ensure that students are matched with the appropriate artistic experience. We offer three levels of group instruction: Explorers, Travelers and Adventurers. Students will be given the opportunity to work on mixed media projects while enjoying the company of others. This fun and creative class is suitable for all students including those with or without special needs.
Group Music Classes
Some of our students may find our group class a great introduction which eventually leads to a private lesson experience in one of our other programs. Our overall approach to each weekly class allows students of all abilities to appreciate and participate in various types of singing and musical instruction. We will explore all genres and seek to identify what resonates best with each individual student.
Group Sensory and Socialization
These group sessions focus on encouraging socialization through the use of sensory play materials. Students are encouraged to interact with one another. These interactions, over time, are designed to help build our students' comfort level in social settings. We anticipate and encourage that some of our students will be able to make peer connections that lead to lasting friendships. This class will also focus on things we do when we celebrate our own accomplishments as well as those of others.
Private Music Lessons
We provide private music lessons to students of all abilities. Our highly skilled and professional instructors are happy to provide your child with lessons throughout the year as well as those extra NYSSMA preparations.

The 'Breakroom': Our breakroom program is exactly what it sounds like. A place for PARENTS to go sit and take a break or engage with us in any number of activities. Dance Classes: Unlike our music and movement class, this class will focus more specifically on traditional dance instruction that can be tailored to include students with all levels of physical and cognitive ability. This class will also be available to adults seeking ballroom instruction. The ballroom events are inexpensive, pay-as-you-go experiences designed to warm the heart. Partners are encouraged but not required. Fitness: This class will focus on general physical fitness through fun exercise activities for all levels of ability.
** Free** Sunday School Program
We believe in giving back to our community. Our Family has long been concerned that there be a Sunday School program available to all God's children including those with special needs. This is a non-denominational Protestant Christian Program. We do, however, WELCOME those of all faiths and backgrounds to participate. Our classes will be held on Sunday Afternoons from 3 to 4 pm. We Hope to see you there!
